Forklift Quality Training (FQT) is Adelaide’s leading Forklift training company. FQTis a Registered Training Organisation (RTO Num: 45625) which was first registered in 2008 and since then has put through over 5,000 students through forklift training.

Forklift Quality Training (FQT) is headed up by its CEO Mr. Rodney Sweeney (Rod),he has over 30yrs industry experience in forklift operations, so you are in very good hands.

Rod is supported by a dedicated team of professionals that are always there to help get you your forklift, tele handler, Order picker and EWP licence.

Here at Forklift Quality Training (FQT), we are approved by the Australian Government to provide trainingand assessment services for the following training products:

  • TLILIC0003 – Forklift
  • TLILIC0004 – Order Picker
  • RIIHAN301E – (EWP) Elevated Work Platform
  • TLILIC0005 – Boom type Elevated Work Platform (Above 11mrs)

Due to popular demand, Forklift Quality Training (FQT) now also providestraining throughout SA country/rural areas.

We also offer VOC (Verification of Competency) courses for all plant mentioned above throughout South Australia.

We run daily training at our main office (Unit 1/15 Dunstan Rd, Wingfield SA 5013) and we also specialise in on-site training for experienced operators needing to upgrade to a current high-risk license. For on-site assessments, we require a minimum of 3 people in the metropolitan area. Country areas may incur extra charges.

RTO Num: 45625 – Forklift Quality Training (FQT) is a registered training organisation which offers:

  • Re-Assessments available for operators who have failed to renew their HRW licence by the due date.

We specialise in on-site assessments for experienced operators needing to upgrade to a High Risk Work Licence. For on-site assessments we cover metropolitan & country areas we require a minimum of 3 people there may be extra charges to outer metropolitan & country areas.

What to Expect From FQT

TLILIC0003 Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck is a two day face to face course costing $375 per person.

The course is conducted twice a week – every Monday/Tuesday and again on the Wednesday/Thursday.
Start times are 8:15am
Finish time is approximately 4:00pm on both days

We also offer 1 day Assessment only courses for experienced and competent Forklift Operators costing $330 per person
Requirements to be eligible for this course would be you either need to hold an old forklift licence or have received in-house training with your employer in which case a letter is required stating this.

We offer this course every Friday.

Start time 8:15am
Finishing approximately 2:00pm

To be eligible for the 1-day Forklift assessment Safework SA require the following:

  • 18 Years or older
  • Photo ID
  • An Expired Forklift HRWL
  • Old Forklift Ticket and a letter on company letterhead advising the staff member has completed 15 hours of log book training and is competent and experienced on a forklift.
  • 15 hours of log book training supervised by a High-Risk Forklift Licence Holder and that the critical aspects for assessment and evidence required to demonstrate competency in this unit have been met.
  • Read the Study guide and answer the revision question at the back. (We will email this once the booking has been made).
  • For any training, students are required to have a USI – Unique Identifier number, to obtain a USI number go to www.usi.gov.au, please supply this at time of enrollment.
